She Thinks I'm Crazy

I had so much fun hanging out with this little peanut the other day but I think she left thinking I was a little wacko.  Trying to get somewhat of a smile out of her was sort of .... challenging.  I won't go into details on what I was doing to try to get her to crack but I'm sure I looked ridiculous.  

Patience

was key for this little guy.  He did NOT want me to touch or move him when he wasn't ready!  Ohhh he was a scrumptious little guy though I wanted to snuggle with him the whole time he was with me!

Isn't this little peanut just adorable?  Her hair was just to die for and she just had the most beautiful eyes... lucky girl.

Earth Girl

Goodness I love this little tootsie.  I've envisioned this specific shot in my head for awhile now and I didn't quite execute it like I'd hoped but... I think it's still pretty darn cute.

Session in Saugatuck

Tonight I had a session in beautiful Saugatuck, MI.  Joe and I love to go there on weekends in the summer to walk around with the kids and to eat at Marro's restaurant.  After their seriously awesome food we get ice cream at Kilwins and let the kids play at the park.  Tonight after the session I couldn't not stop at Kilwins and grab myself some peanut brittle goodness - a must if you're visiting Saugatuck.  

Tonight it looked a lot like rain but after some assurance from the family that it wouldn't, we did our session.  I'm so glad that we stuck it out and continued with pictures because check out these adorable kids...

Chris & Lindsay {She Said Yes}

Ok... THIS is why I'm behind the camera.  This couple belongs in the spotlight as I don't think they could be any more photogenic.  This adorable pair and I met up last night to do some engagement pictures and we weren't going with the norm.  This couple likes to be different than the typical and we wanted to reflect that in the pictures.  Get this... at their reception, they are catering in Yesterdog for their midnight snack.  How cool is that? I absolutely can't wait to do their wedding as undoubtedly it will be fantastic. 

Seriously, you guys are fantastic!  Be prepared for more goodness when the rest are complete!  

Yup

Two blog posts in one night - I'm on a roll!!!!  It feels really good to start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  

Meet this darling little lady.  Her Mamma and Daddy have waited so patiently for her. Here she is teeny, tiny, and every ounce of perfect.  

Oh yes I did!!!!  I caught her smiling! Already a natural for the camera!

Unfortunately I had to give this little peanut back.  Those baby days go way too fast!  

I'm A Horrible, Horrible Person

I've been a bad blogger.  Very bad.  I've been super busy with sessions, editing and trying to keep up with blogging and it just didn't work.  My apologies for waiting so long you super cute family.  Enjoy your sneak peek of what's to come in your gallery!

Chris & Corrie {She Said Yes}

Can you tell this couple is in love?  Trust me... they are and it was very evident while I was shooting their engagement session!  Chris and Corrie are getting married this December and not too long ago we spent the evening together to take their engagement pictures.  We first started at the zoo and since Corrie works there she gave me the back stage pass.  It was awesome!

Beautiful

Isn't she?  This 6 month old little lady came over to strut her stuff tonight and she did well.  

 

I seriously wanted to put her in my pocket and keep her.  Maybe next time.
