Flashy

Check out my new favorite thing to wear.  

Yes, they are gold shoes and aren't they gloriously fabulous?  They arrived at my doorstep yesterday and I'm in love.  They are comfortable which is a necessity in my wardrobe but yet a little flashy at the same time!  Now.... go get yourself a pair.  

The Day

Saturday was the big day that this couple has been looking forward to for awhile now.  I was SO honored when they asked me to document their special day.  The wedding was a blast!  I went to high school with all the groomsmen but one.  It was so fun to see all of them again and to catch up.  What a rainy day it was on Saturday.  The first thing I saw when I woke up that morning was large dark clouds in the distance and I knew that we weren't going to do many - if any outside pictures.  Though it was a rainy day, it didn't damper the spirits of this couple, the day was great, the mood was energetic and the guests were fabulous.   Here's the recap of the day...

I LOVED this dress!

These kids were ADORABLE!  They were so ready for their job as flower girls and ring bearers.

We literally had about 2 shots outside.  When I was done taking just a few of this pose, it started to downpour!

Yup, it was great to see them all these guys again!

A meaningful gift to the bride and groom to remember her grandfather. 

Isn't this cake gorgeous? It tasted just as good as it looked too!

Derek and Lori-  what a great couple you are.  I'm so happy for the both of you and I wish you many happy years together!  Thanks for inviting me along to help with your big day!  

Big Day

This little guy and I spent the evening together capturing his 1 year milestone.  Dude he is.

Buddy LOVES to walk!  That's all he wanted to do the whole session! It's fun to be one and walking!

His mama is a fabulous at doing hair (if you need someone, I'll get you her #), of course she styled this guys up to perfection.

It was great to see you guys again!  Happy birthday buddy!

This is by far Trey's favorite show.  He will sit through the entire episode without moving a muscle.  In fact the other day while he watched it I gave him a haircut and it actually looked pretty good when I was finished! Can you guess what it is?!?

Getting Bigger

Yes they are!  My niece and nephews came over last week to have their pictures updated.  If you aren't aware already my kids are pretty much the same ages as their cousins.  It makes for a great instant playmate when attending family functions!  

Too Cool For School

This little guy just turned five months old... today!  5 months is BIG stuff ya know.  Mr. Man was giving me the 'tude as I was doing the session.

He started to loosen up a little though as we went along!  :)

Check it Out

I had a fabulous weekend learning some new tricks to the trade.  It was FREEZING outside but these brave models were such troopers and let us photograph them while they pretended it was 80 degrees.  

They Made It!

He's back!  This time with a little more hair!

Along with him came his brother and sister.  How in the world I got them to all smile at me at the same time blows my mind!  Love this shot!
