Still together after 40 years of marriage is something this couple should be very proud of!  This good looking couple won a gift certificate from Images of Essence Photography and put it to good use tonight as they are celebrating their anniversary! Happy anniversary you love birds and here's to many more happy years together!

Isn't this guy a little buddy?!?!  His smile and his laugh just melted my heart.  His mamma and daddy are from Virginia but vacationing in Michigan and made it a priority to have his pictures taken while they were here and I'm so glad!

PHEW

I found out tonight that a little boy who weighs around 5 pounds could boss me around.  This little buddy made it VERY clear from the start that HE was running the show...  he's lucky he's cute!  :)   I'm whooped! 

Congratulations on your little buddy!  He's a keeper!

Jake & Megan = Wedding Bells {Grand Rapids Wedding Photographer}

I was holding my breath all day on Friday, praying that the rain would hold off until at least the ceremony as I knew that this couple really wanted to do some outdoor shots. Jake and Megan were married this past Friday, July 24 at Bethany CRC in Holland Michigan. What a beautiful location and a great wedding party I had to work with! I was so thankful that the rain held off for us completely and we were able to get some rockin' photos of this couples wedding day! What a sweet couple they were to work with and you can just see that they are completely and madly in love with each other. I wish you both the best as you start this journey as husband and wife! Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day!

Watch out world because when these girls grow up, they are going to be something fierce!!  I had so much fun with these two beauties tonight!  Photographing them was so easy, they were such good listeners and really knew how to work the camera!  

Good news too... my email should be fixed after a 2 hour technical support call this afternoon.

There is just something about that new baby smell that just makes me melt and this guy was no exception.  Oh I just wanted to cuddle with him all day long!!!  Check out that perfect little head of hair!!
