Isn't this little peanut just so sweet?? Exactly 7 days old and soooo sleepy! She was such a little model and let me pose her in all kinds of ways!

Alex + Stephanie {Grand Rapids, Michigan Photographer}
A couple of weeks ago I shot the most beautiful wedding up near Traverse City, Michigan. STUNNING weather we had and even though it was a little bit hot, it wasn't raining and we were able to utilize this amazing property at the Crooked Creek Ranch. When I say amazing, I mean absolutely amazing. The grounds at the ranch offered so much for photography backdrops, it was a little overwhelming on where to start as I wanted to do so much with this wedding party!
Here's a peek of what their wedding day looked like:
The bridal dressing area
Woop for a vintage bike find!!
The brooch was lent from a grandmother that couldn't attend. A perfect addition to the flowers.
Another special meaning to this family. Chris was definitely a part of this big event.
I just absolutely adore this beautiful family. Thank you so much for letting me capture your special day!

New {Grand Rapids, Michigan Photographer}
Remember this sweet couple that came in for their maternity session? Their little babe has made her debut!
I got to snuggle with her for a couple of hours. She HATED to be touched but thankfully she let me play with her a little bit. :)

Slightly Crazy {Grand Rapids Photographer}
I wrote about my dear friend Lindsey and her sweet daughter here, when they had recently found out that Lola had been diagnosed with Leukemia. Ever since then Lola has fighting like a trooper for her life.
Lindsey informed me that there was a hike raising money for CureSearch, a critical piece in Lola's recovery. They help fund those searching for a cure for pediatric cancer.
So I hike.
30 miles in one day.
I told you...
I'm crazy. And so is Lindsey. :)
What's great about CureSearch is that out of every dollar, more than 90% of that goes directly to research a cure for children's cancer.
Here's the deal. I'm hiking for Lola and I'm helping the DeYoung family raise money for an organization that could potentially help save their daughters life. I challenge you to help me raise my goal for them.
Have $5? That's all I'm asking for. I truly feel that if all my blog readers could donate $5, we could make a significant difference in a lot of kids lives.
HERE'S the link to donate to our Team Lola's page. Enter Kerry Siereveld as the participant and it will be added to our collection for our team.
Thank you so much for your support, prayers and love for this beautiful family. I promise to update on our hike (October 29, 2011) and let you know if we survived!
Hiking is serious stuff. Definitely need new hiking gear at some point (I'm thinking brown boots with plaid socks?), but I made my goal mark tonight of 3 miles!
