Mr. & Mrs.

It's been months in the making and the day has finally arrived!  Yesterday this sweet couple tied the knot at Covenant CRC right here in Grand Rapids.  We were all praying for a nice day as March weather in Michigan can be very unpredictable.  Turns out it was fabulous!  A little cool but it wasn't raining and it wasn't snowing.

Getting ready as the wedding time approaches.

It was really important for Mark and Diana to have a few moments to themselves before the day started.  This is Mark's reaction to seeing his bride for the first time.  I have to admit, I was choking back the tears while capturing this beautiful moment.

Isn't this bride just STUNNING?

This... was brought to the reception.  Don't ask...

The reception was at Crossroads about 5 minutes from the church.  It was beautiful and perfect for celebrating the night away!

Mark and Diana, thanks so much for inviting me along to document your special day.  You are a beautiful couple and I wish you many years together!  Happy honeymooning in Mexico!  Bring back some warm weather for us!

Serious Stuff

This little peanut came to see me this afternoon to celebrate turing 6 months old!  She was so serious about her modeling debut that we didn't get too many smiles out of her.  Thanks so much for driving through the messy weather to have her pictures taken!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Saving A City Near You

Here he is ladies and gentlemen... Super Gibson!  Big buddy is starting to grow out of his favorite pair of pj's so I thought I'd capture him while he could still fit a leg inside the pants.

So I take him to my studio area and ask him to look like a superhero and this is what I get.

So we tried again and this time I asked him to look tough. Sigh... I suppose Superman's the good guy, no one said that he had to look mean.

Make your way over to my website folks and listen carefully.   MUSIC!  Stand up and shake your booty - it's a good one!

Newness

Making her debut to the world at 7 days old.  Meet this little beauty.  Ooohhh... there's nothing like the smell of a new little babe.  I wanted to tuck her in my pocket and run away with her.  She was such a little peanut!

Big brother was pretty proud of her too!

Congratulations you guys!

Family

So tonight I met this amazing family.  When I say amazing, I really mean it.  After finding my blog a couple months ago, Lori contacted me about setting up a session to capture her beautiful family.  The Fox family is dealing with Eric living with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease).  I really encourage you to check out their blog HERE.  Read there story... they are an amazing testament of living faithfully even though the future is uncertain. Leave them a little blog love too, encourage them and pray for them, I'm sure they would love it!!

Fox family, you were a joy to work with tonight!  It's been a blessing to come in contact with you and to actually meet you face to face this evening!  I hope I've captured your family well.  I posted a ton of pictures because I wanted all my blog readers to see and remember your beautiful faces.  This is my blog so deal with it.  :)

Sweet Thang

Here's Rylee in her new do.  Is it considered lame if I cried as the hair stylist was chopping all the youth off of my daughter?   Here she is, all grown up at 3 1/2.

This one is already ordered as a 16x20 canvas.
