Niece

I had a wonderful time yesterday hanging out with my niece and my nephew.   My sister came over to have pictures done for Ava who was having her 3 month session.  Isn't she a honey?

I said something really funny and she agreed!

[She Said Yes] Engagement Session

I had SO much fun hanging out with Jake and Megan this afternoon as I photographed their Engagement session.  They are getting married next July and I couldn't be more excited for them!  Megan's sister is one of my close friends, so I knew that we would get along well!  Get ready, this is a long sneak peek!  There were so many that I just wanted to share so...enjoy!

Mr. Man

I haven't featured my oldest guy in awhile.  Yesterday I took him to get his hair cut.  He wanted a faux hawk...just like daddy.  I think it looks good on him!  

Birth Day

My baby is 1 year old today!  Happy birthday to you Trey!  This was the one pregnancy where I was actually right on guessing the sex of the baby.  Joe totally thought the baby was going to be a girl.  After being wrong for the first 2 times, I was really hoping I would be right for one of them! Birthday boy is doing great, health problems for the most part are done with.  Trey is wearing a helmet (I took it off for these pictures) as he has 2 forms of plagiocephalia. He will probably need to wear the helmet until his head fuses together which usually is around 18-24 months. Thankfully he doesn't seem to mind wearing it 23 hours of the day!  Watch the blog for pictures coming soon - he looks SO cute when he wears it!!

Joy

I had such a great time this afternoon photographing this beautiful family.  This family has 2 seriously adorable little girls that were so much fun to be around (not to mention the dad who had us all laughing!).  Thanks so much for giving me the pleasure to take your portraits today!!  Your family was such a joy to photograph.  Be prepared for a big preview....there were so many that I just loved.  Here is your sneak peek!!

This little tootsie was so cute.  She was shy at the beginning but near the end, I got some smiles!

They had a garden in the backyard where the girls were watching their sunflowers grow...the results that they are so proud of - and should be, they're beautiful!

Happy Birthday!

To Rylee!!  My daughter turns 3 today.  It seems like I blinked and she is not a baby anymore but a little girl!  It is hard for me to believe that that stage in my life is over with her.  I remember during the last days of my pregnancy how I was sure that it was a boy and Joe was sure that it was a girl.  The mother always has the best intuition on these things because she's the one that is carrying the child right?  I was dead wrong (obviously).  I went into labor on my own 5 days after my due date.  She was the only one that I went into labor with without any help from medicine.  Gibson and Trey loved me so much they wanted to stay close to me a good 2 weeks after my due date therefore forcing the doctors to induce me. 

Here she is little pumpkin pie, the day after birth.  She was a healthy 7lb, 3oz!

Today she is a 3 year old beauty!

What I get when I ask her to put her hands in her lap.  She starts praying!!  :)

This took me forever to get her to show me how old she is.  

It's hard keeping just three fingers up!

Happy birthday to our little sweetheart.  We love you more than words can describe!

My Apologies

Ok, so I wasn't thinking very clearly when I changed my new look to match a 22 inch computer screen.  I had quite the time checking out my new fresh look on my puny PC screen and scrolling W...A...Y.... over to see the whole page.  Never fear those that are using a screen smaller than 22 inches.  It has been fixed!
